Michael has been a part of the strength community since 2010. He co-founded East Race Muscle in 2015 under the vision of "Strong Builds Strong." ERM is a place where everyone can build their strongest selves, and make lasting relationships along the way. Michael offers powerlifting and strongman training and programming, as well as general fitness and athletic performance training for athletes of all ages. He trains & programs the Crusaders Football team.

Tyrome Jones

Tyrome was a nationally ranked amateur boxer and a 7-year professional. He brings real ring experience into every training session. His coaching focuses on proper technique, conditioning, footwork, and mental discipline. He works with all skill levels, from beginners learning fundamentals to competitive athletes preparing for bouts, helping clients build confidence, fitness, and authentic boxing skills.

Christina Ryan

Christina handles the marketing and administrative tasks at ERM, while also being a part-time trainer. Christina has been in the bodybuilding and strength training world since 2009. She's a nationally-ranked competitive powerlifter and has 1st place finishes in competitive bodybuilding. She works with clients of all ages and ability levels, and often works with those totally new to strength training, teaching the principles of weightlifting.

Vonte Upshaw

Vonte started out running track at Bethel and was introduced to the art of Muay Thai. He has been training for over 7 years under Kru Ricardo Perez. He promotes self defense, confidence, and weight loss. ​

Travis has been training in bodybuilding for over 20 years, and personal training for over 10 years. He has competed in professional bodybuilding and specializes in functional training and weight loss.

Addi works with clients of all backgrounds to improve general fitness, weight loss, strength, and athletic performance. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and has a background in athletic youth development. A former collegiate softball player and current competitive powerlifter, she combines education, experience, and supportive coaching to help clients get stronger, move better, and reach their goals — both in person and online.
